Description
This anthem by Richard Barnard sets text taken from the sequence from the Sixth Common of the Saints in the Sarum Missal (as directed for the feast of St George), translated into English by A. Harford Pearson in 1884. The piece was commissioned by St George’s Hanover Square on the occasion of the church’s 300th anniversary, and first performed by the Choir of St George’s Hanover Square, London on 23rd April 2025.
